Informatica has released new GenAI Blueprints to speed up and streamline the development of AI applications across several key technology platforms.
The blueprints support well-known platforms such as AWS, Databricks, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, and Snowflake. These AI cloud blueprints feature GenAI Model-as-a-Service, standard reference designs, vector database interfaces, and prebuilt recipes tailored to each environment to streamline development and expedite deployment.
By enabling the use of AI-ready data, the blueprints aim to help businesses quickly create economic value from GenAI applications. They are made up of pre-established configurations and design concepts that work with Informatica's Intelligent Data Management Cloud platform and other leading cloud development tools and data systems.
Companies like Deloitte and Capgemini are already utilizing these blueprints to develop their own GenAI platforms, adding value-added services and industry-specific capabilities to Informatica's basic templates. Master data management, data engineering, data discovery, access control, and policy enforcement are just a few of the metadata-driven and data-driven requirements that are common to GenAI projects and are covered in the blueprints.
Features like data quality and master data management are emphasized to ensure that GenAI applications are based on high-quality data relevant to stakeholders like customers, products, and suppliers. Additionally, to optimize GenAI's applicability for many industries and enterprises, data governance and business glossary information are utilized.
The blueprints offer a no-code method for scalable project scaffolding, ensuring that the data used in GenAI prompts is appropriate and safe, while also promoting responsible AI through policy and security enforcement. They also leverage the rapid integration and orchestration capabilities of the IDMC platform to accelerate the development of GenAI apps with pre-built, no-code recipes for AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle.
Currently, blueprint for AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle are available, and the blueprints are freely available via Informatica's Architecture Center. Recipes for Snowflake and Databricks should be accessible next year.
