Capgemini is acquiring Syniti, an international supplier of enterprise data management and transfer services. The acquisition of Syniti, a leader in SAP transformation services, will enhance Capgemini's portfolio in that area.

With its headquarters in the United States, Syniti has a global workforce of over 1,200 data experts with experience in industries including life sciences, manufacturing, consumer products and retail, aerospace and defense, and automotive. It facilitates business-critical transformation projects such as cloud migration, ERP consolidation and migration, mergers and acquisitions, and data compliance requirements.

According to the supplier, the Syniti Knowledge Platform is a unified, cloud-based data management system designed to dismantle the silos that have historically characterized the enterprise data management market. It offers a collaborative platform that all business stakeholders can use to propel profitable and replicable business transformation projects.

For about a decade, Syniti has been marketing the platform as SAP Advanced Data Migration & Management, which is actually a SAP Solution Extension. Moreover, SAP has authorized this app.

According to Capgemini Group CEO Aiman Ezzat, a solid data foundation is essential for enabling high-quality, reliable, and pertinent insights. For clients, it was a primary goal as they looked to generative AI to help them extract even more value from their enterprise data. In his words, Syniti was a leading company in its industry and a reliable worldwide partner for significant SAP data migrations. Their global workforce will bolster its data-driven digital fundamental business transformation offerings.
