According to reports, KaiOS phones can no longer use WhatsApp. WhatsApp is no longer working on the cellphone running KaiOS 2.5.4, according to a Reddit user.

The customer reported that on his Nokia 6300 4G, WhatsApp (WhatsApp version: 2.2329.13, KaiOS version: 2.5.4) has ceased functioning. The problem continued even after the phone was reset and the app was reinstalled.

Upon installing version 2.2329.13, he was unable to access WhatsApp and was presented with an error notice stating "Something went wrong" without providing any other information. While users who were already signed in could continue to use the app, this issue primarily affected new users.

Another user shared a screenshot from KaiOS support, which said that early 2025 is the time frame for WhatsApp use for those who logged in before June 25, 2024. But KaiOS will no longer receive updates or maintenance from WhatsApp. 3. You are unable to download or install the software because it has been taken down from the KaiOS marketplace. On the official website, an update about WhatsApp's incompatibility statement will be promoted, with a recovery time to be decided.

The iOS support page verified that smartphones bought and activated before June 25, 2024, with WhatsApp already logged in, will stay functioning until early 2025, even though WhatsApp hasn't made an official declaration on this.

Additionally, KaiOS 3.0 does not support WhatsApp; only logged-in users will be able to use it until February 2025.
