By improving airport cargo and logistics infrastructure, this project seeks to strengthen India's supply chain network
Grant funding has been authorized by the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) to support the establishment of an integrated aviation centre at Hisar Airport in Haryana, India. By improving airport cargo and logistics infrastructure, this project seeks to strengthen India's supply chain network.
Declaring at the US-India Aviation Summit in Washington, DC, USTDA Director Enoh T. Ebong reaffirmed the organization's commitment to funding the project in association with the Haryana Airports Development Corporation (HADC). Building capacity will be one aspect of the technical assistance, to assist with the aviation hub's implementation. Ebong responded that this partnership with HADC represents an important opportunity to fortify international aviation ties highlighting the possibility that US companies may support ten aviation projects around India.
The summit highlights the strategic significance of collaboration in the aviation industry and is attended by representatives and business executives from both countries. By leveraging US expertise to promote eco-friendly airport infrastructure and air traffic management systems, this funding represents a significant turning point in US-India ties.
