Cloud MSME Indian Survey Investments

The poll indicates that MSMEs prefer to include CRM, banking, and business analytics into their operations

According to a recent Zoho Corporation survey, there has been a noticeable shift in Indian MSMEs' (micro, small, and medium-sized firms) attitude toward embracing technology, with a particular emphasis on cloud and IT solutions. 81% of respondents to the study, which was sent to 5,149 MSMEs, said they intended to spend more on cloud computing in 2025, indicating a rising commitment to using technology to enhance operational efficacy and competitiveness.

Key findings from the survey suggest that 77% of MSMEs allocate up to 50% of their IT budget for cloud services, while 23% designate even more. This trend indicates that companies are strategically utilizing technology to address issues like expensive software and lack of technical expertise. The poll indicates that MSMEs prefer to include CRM, banking, and business analytics into their operations, making these sectors essential technological areas. As companies attempt to strengthen their digital infrastructure, there is also an increasing interest in cyber security and artificial intelligence.

The survey also shows that there is considerable demand for feature-rich, cost-effective digital solutions designed to meet the unique requirements of smaller enterprises. Improving CRM systems to better customer operations remains the primary objective for MSMEs as they embark on their digital transformation missions.
