The software giant has added new knowledge graph capabilities to SAP Datasphere
SAP is enhancing its SAP Datasphere data warehouse platform and SAP Analytics Cloud system with new features and integrations, including generative AI, data governance, and knowledge graph capabilities. Daniel Yu, SAP's senior vice president of solution management and product marketing, emphasized the significance of data in digital transformation efforts, noting its critical role in decision-making processes. To address these challenges, SAP introduced Datasphere Knowledge Graph, a data modeling capability within Datasphere aimed at discovering insights and patterns across applications and systems. This addition enables both technical and business users to understand data relationships better and enhance the effectiveness of machine learning systems.
SAP has integrated its Joule copilot generative AI assistant with SAP Analytics Cloud to automate report creation and development, catering to users with varying analytical skills. The addition of "compass" in SAP Analytics Cloud facilitates complex Monte Carlo simulations through a chat interface, offering predictive outcomes for planning and analytics purposes. Furthermore, SAP has expanded its partnership with Collibra to integrate AI Governance software, ensuring data transparency, accountability, and compliance with privacy policies and regulatory requirements. These enhancements present opportunities for partners engaged in data transformation projects within SAP environments, particularly those specializing in financial planning, budgeting, and simulation processes. Additionally, partners can leverage the new capabilities in data governance initiatives.
