Planity simplifies salon management while empowering businesses to enhance customer experience through SaaS.
French startup Planity is making waves in the beauty industry with its innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product tailored specifically for hair salons and beauty businesses. Recently, the company announced a successful €45 million Series C funding round ($48 million), led by InfraVia Capital Partners and supported by existing investors Crédit Mutuel Innovation, Revaia, and Bpifrance’s Digital Venture fund.
Planity's success comes amid France's booming salon culture, with over 40,000 businesses already relying on its platform for streamlined appointment booking and management. Unlike its competitors, Planity offers a monthly subscription-based model rather than charging a commission on each appointment, positioning itself as a cost-effective solution for salon owners.
With features like online booking, automated reminders, and personalized schedules for employees, Planity simplifies salon management while empowering businesses to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Additionally, the platform offers advanced functionalities such as managing working hours, handling payroll, and integrating with point-of-sale systems.
Looking ahead, Planity aims to expand its market presence beyond France, targeting Belgium and Germany. The company's growth strategy includes investing in sales expansion, with plans to hire more sales personnel to onboard new clients and drive adoption of its platform.
