Sectra's extensive experience in assisting large health networks proves valuable in supporting customers
Sectra, an international medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company, has secured a deal to provide its Sectra One Cloud enterprise imaging cloud subscription service to a university health network in the US. This move highlights the healthcare provider's dedication to enhancing and streamlining diagnostic processes, with a focus on fostering physician collaboration and implementing robust security measures across more than 10 hospitals. The university health network conducts over two million imaging exams annually across its extensive network of hospitals. By opting for Sectra One Cloud, Sectra will manage the entire infrastructure through a fully managed Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the cloud. This arrangement includes continuous monitoring, optimization, and upgrades, along with round-the-clock support and security monitoring to ensure a seamless user experience.
Isaac Zaworski, President of Sectra Inc., expresses pride in offering a solution that addresses the challenges of rising imaging volumes and cybersecurity threats for hospitals. Sectra's extensive experience in assisting large health networks proves valuable in supporting customers on their journey to the cloud. The contract for Sectra One Cloud spans six years and was finalized during the third quarter of Sectra's 2023–2024 fiscal year. Initially, the healthcare provider will utilize the service's radiology module. The contract guarantees revenue of $20.4 million, which will be recognized gradually over the duration of the agreement.
