Jennie Weber joined Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation to Drive Small Business Growth

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Office of Small Business and Innovation conducted six Launch Minnesota events

Jennie Weber has joined the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation (GSDC) as their new administrative and program specialist, effective March 4th. In her role, she will provide administrative support to the organization, aid small businesses on Main Street, and oversee the coordination of Launch Minnesota, a program funded by grants. The GSDC plans to launch this program in the upcoming spring. Notably, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Office of Small Business and Innovation is hosting six Launch Minnesota events, including one scheduled for St. Cloud on March 6th. Among her responsibilities, Weber will foster connections within the region's business community.

This will involve coordinating resources, organizing workshops, and arranging strategy coaching sessions. Concurrently, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Office of Small Business and Innovation is conducting six Launch Minnesota events, with St. Cloud hosting one of them. On March 6th, DEED officials will visit the Iron Street Distillery in East St. Cloud from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. This occasion offers entrepreneurs the chance to engage directly with local, regional, and state economic development experts. The event is inclusive, targeting small businesses, main street storefronts, and start-ups, aiming to showcase the available resources essential for entrepreneurs' initiation and success. DEED reports that approximately 75% of the state's workforce is employed by small businesses.
