Jet2 passenger update: Holidaymakers flying with Jet2 can now access live flight times, real-time status updates and important travel details up to 72 hours before departure through the airline’s updated app. The new digital features aim to make journeys smoother by giving passengers quicker access to essential information, including flight changes, airport details and in-resort customer support.

New App Features Improve Passenger Convenience

The latest update arrives ahead of the busy summer travel season, when thousands of customers are expected to travel with Jet2. The upgraded app will allow passengers to view their flight information easily and receive timely updates directly on their mobile devices.

The app will also provide holidaymakers with details about their Jet2 in-resort Customer Helper, including meeting times, locations and the representative’s name. The feature is designed to simplify access to assistance during holidays and reduce uncertainty for travellers needing support abroad.

Jet2 Expands Digital Travel Experience

David Hills said the company continues to focus on improving customer experiences through digital innovation. He explained that providing more real-time information through the app would make travel easier while strengthening Jet2’s customer service approach.

The airline previously introduced its Live Transfer Status feature, allowing customers to track coach transfers from holiday destinations to departure airports in real time. The service currently covers locations including the Balearics, Canaries, Mainland Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Bulgaria, with expansion planned for destinations such as Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Faro and Madeira.

Jet2 has also reminded passengers to check flight information at least 12 hours before departure and arrive at airports around two hours before scheduled flights. Customers are advised that check-in desks close 40 minutes before departure.
