Wipro opens a GIFT City hub to strengthen its AI-powered financial services capabilities and support global BFSI transformation.

Wipro has opened a new hub called Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) at Gandhinagar. The program represents a significant advancement in Wipro's capacity to provide advanced technology services to clients in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BSFI) industry worldwide.

The development of next-generation, consulting-led, AI-first financial services capabilities will be improved through Wipro's GIFT City. In order to fulfill the increasing need for AI-powered BFSI transformation worldwide, the center enhances Wipro's capacity to co-innovate with clients, integrate responsible AI across crucial financial operations, and scale secure, domain-led platforms.

According to Sanjeev Jain, Chief Operating Officer of Wipro Limited, they are assisting deeper client engagement and long-term value creation by combining their consulting-led, AI-powered transformation and delivery capabilities with deep domain expertise and a strong innovation culture within a high-quality talent ecosystem. Their dedication to working with the Gujarati government to develop future-ready capabilities that promote sustainable growth is further strengthened by this expansion.

The company stated that the new facility will have 150 seats at first, with the option to expand to 500 seats in response to customer demand. Along with Wipro's Chief Operating Officer Sanjeev Jain and Executive Chairman Rishad Premji, Gujarat's Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harsh Sanghavi officially opened the center. Wipro is well-positioned to satisfy current market demands and with access to a strong pool of graduate talent it works to develop capabilities in line with the next stage of industry transformation.
