OPPO Launches K14x 5G in India at Rs 14,999

OPPO unveils the budget-friendly K14x 5G with a 6500mAh battery, 120Hz display, Android 15, and fast charging for value-focused smartphone buyers.

In India, a new affordable phone has just been launched. Oppo released the K14x 5G smartphone on Tuesday. This is a low-end, yet reliable phone with basic hardware and an equally low pricing model; the 4GB version of the K14x 5G starts at a decent price of Rs 14,999. In contrast, the 6GB model of the phone has a slightly higher price tag of Rs 16999. The phone also comes in Prism Violet and Icy Blue color options.

The K14x's sizable 6500 mAh battery is one of its primary characteristics. This is a reasonably entry-level phone aside from that. The device's HD LCD display measures 6.75 inches. The maximum resolution is 720P, which is somewhat low. However, the display has a 120 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone can reach a maximum brightness of 1125 nits.

The smartphone runs ColorOS 15 which is based on Android 15, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It comes with a large 6500 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The K14x has two cameras: a 2 megapixel secondary camera and a 50 megapixel primary camera. Inside that is the only camera that matters in this scenario is the primary camera.

The gadget has an IP64 rating, which indicates that it is resistant to dust and splashes. This is somewhat of a downgrade from the IP65 rating that the OPPO K13x of the previous generation had. 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage are the two versions of the phone that are offered.

The Oppo K14x is available for Rs 14999 at launch. This is for the version with 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. The other one costs Rs 16,999 and has 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. It is important to note that the K14x costs much more than its predecessor, the K13x, which retailed for Rs 11999. The phone pre-booking period begins, February 10.
