In a touching Instagram post, the cricket icon talked about his decision, expressing gratitude for his time in Australia and explaining what drove him to the UAE.

According to Brett Lee's social media posts, what started out as a few business trips has expanded into something much bigger, and Dubai is now his home. Lee emphasized that his kids are doing well in Dubai's educational system and that sports are available everywhere. He continued, "We've honestly loved every minute of it," adding that there are new chances, wonderful people, lots of family time, and a lifestyle that's very hard to top.

Although it is still early, Lee said he is proud to call Dubai home and called this move the start of a "next chapter”. He also urged others to visit the city at least once, assuring them that it would be worthwhile.

Lee stated he will always be pleased to call Australia home and that he is so grateful for the life he and his family made there, and that it will never change, highlighting his ongoing ties to Australian cricket and culture despite the relocation.
