André Erasmus Joins as COO at Auriga International to Transform Operational Abilities

André Erasmus joins Auriga International Management Consultancy as COO to develop hospitality and to transform operational abilities.

André Erasmus has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) by Auriga International Management Consultancy, a prominent real estate and hospitality advisory firm. This appointment enhances the firm's operational capabilities as it continues to assist in the repositioning and transformation of hospitality assets throughout the region.

Auriga works include a broad range of hospitality formats, including hotels, branded and independent F&B concepts, lifestyle venues, wellness and salon brands, and developing cloud kitchen operators. Erasmus has extensive experience in establishing, repositioning, and managing hospitality assets, having worked in hotel management for more than 20 years. His appointment strengthens Auriga's dedication to assist owners in unlocking long-term value by converting existing properties into current, market-ready, and operationally efficient hotels and resorts.

On his appointment, André Erasmus, COO of Auriga International Management Consultancy, said that Auriga’s strength lies in its ability to bridge strategy and execution. He believes that refurbishment and rebranding deliver real value only when grounded in operational reality, and that is where his experience comes into play. He added that he will focus on strengthening operational frameworks, scaling service delivery, and expanding Auriga’s refurbishment capabilities to help owners maximize asset performance across market cycles.

Priya Jaganathan, Managing Director and Co-founder at Auriga International Management Consultancy, confessed that she and André first worked together on the Anantara project in Abu Dhabi back in 2008, and over the years that collaboration evolved into a strong professional partnership built on trust and shared values. Bringing André into Auriga at this stage is both a strategic and personal milestone. She says that his operational leadership strengthens their ability to deliver refurbishment and repositioning projects that genuinely perform once they are live.

Erasmus has a solid knowledge of how asset strategy, design intent, and brand standards translate into daily performance thanks to his extensive experience in top operational roles across global hospitality organizations. He will be instrumental in expanding Auriga's operational advisory business throughout the area in his capacity as COO.
