TCS Hires Amit Tiwari to Lead Global Marketing Tech & Digital Transformation

TCS Names Amit Tiwari MarTech

TCS appoints Amit Tiwari to combine creative, digital, and martech teams into an AI-powered global marketing engine driving brand, engagement, and demand.

Amit Tiwari has been appointed as the new Global Head of Marketing Technology & Digital at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This position was created to combine the company's creative, digital marketing, and marketing technology departments.

After joining TCS in 2021, Tiwari most recently oversaw the Marketing Demand Center, where he concentrated on expanding marketing capabilities, using technology and achieving the business's objectives. In his new position, he will collaborate closely with TCS's industry, services, and geographic marketing teams to create a single, AI-based marketing engine that will improve customer interaction, brand recognition, and demand generation on a worldwide scale.

Before joining Tata Consultancy Services, Amit Tiwari worked in senior marketing positions at Philips India and Havells India Ltd., where he oversaw B2B and B2C brand, media, and digital transformation projects. He had an annual budget of more than $60 million at Havells, where he handled marketing strategies for the mother brand and major brands including Lloyd, Crabtree, Standard, and Reo. He also spearheaded the digital-first shift of data sciences and e-commerce.

Tiwari stated, marketing today lives at the junction of creativity, data, AI, and technology, in reference to his recent appointment. They are positioned to rethink how they engage customers, create demand, increase brand awareness and outperform competitors using innovative MarTech and AI capabilities and produce quantifiable growth at scale by combining the teams of Digital Marketing, Creative and the Marketing CTO.

Tiwari is a seasoned expert in MarTech-obsessed marketing and business transformation, having worked in marketing for more than 20 years, holding leadership roles in media planning and brand communication at ZenithOptimedia, Maxus India, and Lintas Media.
