TCS expands its partnership with Morrisons, one of the UK’s largest supermarket chains to make digital transformation.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) collaborates with Morrisons expanding its partnership, Morrisons is one of the UK’s largest supermarket chain, known for delivering fresh food and integrated manufacturing offering groceries and general merchandise, serving million people online and in stores every week. This TCS and Morrisons collaboration began in 2014, will now focus on developing Morrisons’ digital transformation and improving customer experience across its 500 stores serving 11 million shoppers every week.
TCS will help Morrisons merge its operations across retail, e-commerce, and marketing divisions under the new five-year partnership in order to increase efficiency and support the company's strategic goals. The agreement intends to update reward programs, improve customization, and expand Morrisons' digital presence in order to gain a greater market share.
As part of the plan, TCS will launch an Automation Factory and a Business Intelligent Command Centre (BICC). These will provide a 360-degree operational view managing the data, support proactive issue resolution, and use AI-powered tools to improve service outcomes.

By leveraging their automated solutions, deep retail domain expertise, and engineering excellence, all underpinned by a future-ready operating model, they are excited to drive large-scale transformation across digital, marketing, and customer engagement for Morrisons.
In addition, TCS will seek to improve Morrisons' loyalty, marketing, and e-commerce systems to provide customers with a consistent and personalized experience. The partnership also emphasizes faster delivery of new digital goods and the use of technology to improve overall company’s innovation. With a decade of partnership and expanded collaboration between TCS and Morrisons, TCS grows in helping major global retailers like Morrisons, modernize operations and deliver better value to customers through digital transformation.
