Oppo Reno 15C Expected to Launch in India as Surprise Fourth Model

According to a tipster, Oppo might introduce a new Reno 15C model with important features and a price tag of less than Rs. 40,000 in India alongside the Reno 15 range.

The Oppo Reno 15 series, which the firm previously hinted at, is anticipated to arrive in India shortly. The Oppo Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini are the three versions that the Chinese company has so far hinted at, along with certain specifications. But according to a tipster, there may be a fourth model in the series called the Reno 15C. It's interesting to note that Oppo did introduce a smartphone of the same name in China earlier this month, but it hasn't been made clear whether it will be available in India.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) wrote in a post on X that the Oppo Reno 15C might be released with the Reno 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Mini models. Also, the post stated that the smartphone would cost less than Rs. 40,000. Yadav also disclosed the rumored smartphones' specs.

The Oppo Reno 15C in India will be different from the Chinese model, according to a tipster. It is expected to have a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, as well as a 6.57-inch full-HD LTPS OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and up to 1,400 nits HBM. According to reports, the phone has a 50MP front camera, a triple rear camera (50MP + 8MP + 2MP), and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W rapid charging.

It is also stated that the alleged Reno 15C weighs between 189 and 195g and has a thickness of 8.14mm.

Powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, the Chinese version has a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. In addition to a 50MP front camera, it has a triple back camera arrangement with 50MP primary and telephoto sensors (both with OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The gadget has an 80W quick charging 6,500mAh battery. However, until Oppo makes an official announcement, the leaked facts should be interpreted cautiously due to contradictory specifications.
