Ambrane invests 50 Crore to set up automated manufacturing facility in Haryana to boost automation-led expansion.
Ambrane is a Delhi homegrown brand that specializes in mobile accessories and technology equipment. It is well-known for supporting the "Make in India" movement by creating and manufacturing products locally. It has sold over 40 million products in India; Ambrane is also known for holding the No. 1 position in power banks and it is considered to be one of the leading wearable brands.
Ambrane has begun operations at its new 83,000-square-foot production plant in Kundli, Haryana, which was developed with a 50 crore investment. With this growth, the company plans to enter new product categories in the electronics industry, such as IT peripherals and small appliances, marking a considerable departure from its current mobile accessories offering. The new factory improves Ambrane's manufacturing capacity more than the last time, enhancing its ability to expand globally.
Production is expected to reach its maximum installed capacity of 15 lakh units per month with planned automation developments. The facility's modular, automation-ready architecture allows for quick category development and sophisticated product design, with assistance from SMT lines, automated assembly stations, and real-time quality monitoring systems. The factory has already employed around 600 people from adjacent regions, with more hiring expected in the R&D and Quality & Manufacturing divisions. New skill-development programs in Automated Manufacturing, Quality Checks, and Process Controls are also being implemented to train the workers as production increases.
On this new development, Founder & Director of Ambrane, Mr. Ashok Rajpal said that the launch of this facility is not just an expansion of their manufacturing capabilities; whereas it represents a new prospect for Indian brands committed to innovating at global standards. With the development of Kundli unit, Ambrane will be able to shape new technologies and categories using processes that are faster, smarter, and more sustainable.
Along with increasing output in its existing categories of wearables, audio, power banks, and charging accessories, the company continues to strengthen its position as a proud ambassador of Made-in-India excellence. Expanding its international footprints across 17 countries, Ambrane plans to expand into new areas such as IT accessories and small appliances such as air purifiers.
