Business Fortune: Omron Invests in Tricog Again

OMRON expands its partnership with Tricog to increase AI-driven cardiac diagnostics and online monitoring services across India.

OMRON Healthcare recently announced a second investment in India-based AI MedTech startup Tricog Health in an effort to strengthen its strategic partnership and advance artificial intelligence-based cardiac care services in the nation. The first partnership, which was started in March 2023, is expanded upon by the following investment.

Tricog Health uses the knowledge of more than 100 in-house medical experts with AI analysis gathered from over 10 years of ECG data. Devices and services meant for core clinical workflows are built on this blend.

The two companies have been working on KeeboHealth, an online monitoring service for patients with heart problems, since 2023. The service connects OMRON's linked electrocardiograph devices with Tricog's AI-based ECG analytics. The platform aims to improve diagnostic efficiency and avoid post-treatment recurrence by analyzing home-recorded ECG and blood pressure data and sharing results with physicians. As well, while increasing the delivery of devices and services, OMRON Healthcare plans to continue developing solutions that are compatible with local clinical requirements.

According to Dr. Charit Bhograj, CEO of Tricog Health, in order to streamline diagnosis, improve cardiovascular management, and reduce unnecessary healthcare expenses across Asia, Africa, and other important foreign markets, they will speed up a hospital-to-home launch by pairing OMRON's excellent medical devices with Keebo AI-powered, personalized workflows.

India is at a turning point in the battle against heart disease, and OMRON Healthcare is proud to expand its partnership with Tricog Health to provide patients across the country with modern remote patient monitoring services and early diagnostics. Likewise, combining OMRON's medical technology with Tricog's AI-driven cardiology platform will improve effects, reduce risks, and get them closer to their international aim of Going for ZERO cardiovascular events.
