Lock Group joins UK entrepreneurs at the Goldman Sachs 10KSB Summit to explore U.S. progress, AI improvement, and worldwide growth.
Lock Group, a creative production group that focuses on luxury, fashionable clothing, and marketing content, recently attended the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) Summit in Washington, D.C., with more than 2000 entrepreneurs.
The two day event, which celebrated 15 years of the 10KSB program's effect, was the largest gathering of owners of small businesses in the US. Along with Gurinder Dhillon of Otto Car, Lauren Murrell of By Sarah London, Susie Stubbs of Totter and Tumble, and Patrick McCrae of Artiq, Tom Warren, founder and CEO of Lock Group was part of a small group of nine startups from the UK that wanted to enter the US market.
Creating a trading network, engaging with alumni from the US and the UK, and learning about small business growth strategies were all made possible by the summit. Continued workplace financial availability, using AI for growth, and handling extensive supply chains were all topics covered in educational sessions. Warren and his people involved in discussions about international trade with world leaders, including Michael Bloomberg, Martha Stewart, and 23 time gold medalist Michael Phelps, who shared their knowledge of business, legal matters, and entrepreneurship.
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses has invested $750 million in the US, UK, and France since 2010, providing more than 20,000 graduates with resources, capital, and networks for development. The 10,000 Small Business Summit provides the essential next step in LOCK Group's journey, stated Charlotte Keenan, head of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK and France Program. By convening thousands of ambitious entrepreneurs in Washington, D.C., they are providing the opportunity for Tom to gain not just strategic insights on topics like capital access and AI but also to gain on-the-ground experience to support their ambitions to expand internationally and scale their businesses.
