Diginex Expands AI & ESG

Diginex raises AI capabilities with Kindred OS deal, aiming to modernize regulatory compliance and ESG reporting solutions.

Diginex Limited, a sustainability RegTech provider, revealed on Thursday that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of commitment to acquire Kindred OS, a company that focuses on Edge AI technologies. The announcement comes with Diginex's stock exhibiting impressive growth, with a staggering 2033.33% return over the previous year and a 9.47% rise over the previous week.

The aim of the suggested purchase is to include Kindred's H1 Edge AI technology in Diginex's range of products. Edge AI is especially useful for regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, and government since it allows organizations to operate AI models locally within their own infrastructure without transporting sensitive data outdoors.

According to Miles Pelham, founder and executive chairman of Diginex, static checklists for security and reporting are giving way to interactive, intelligent systems. They may integrate trustworthy information into an organization's own secure IT ecosystem due to edge AI. Also, the Edge AI market was valued at $20.78 billion in 2024 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.7% from 2025 to 2030, reaching $66.47 billion.

Lorenzo Romano, Head of M&A and Strategic Development at Diginex, specified they aim to create a new standard for how AI will improve performance and compliance by combining Kindred's local AI architecture with Diginex's regulatory experience. Diginex Limited also announced the release of diginexGHG, an AI-based tool designed to automate Greenhouse Gas Protocol-compliant corporate carbon footprint analyses. As well, in order to meet growing worldwide legal demands, this tool aims to simplify the reporting of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

Diginex and Indonesian IT firm PT. Inovasi Emran Ekadanta have reached a $1.7 million agreement for Diginex to provide ESG reporting capabilities to more than 1,000 Indonesian rural banks. Along with upfront costs, an extra share structure could bring in extra revenue. Diginex and BlockRidge have partnered to include ESG criteria into digital securities and physical assets on blockchain networks. Through this partnership, reporting and security assessment skills will be improved by using Diginex's range of ESG software solutions.
