Tsecond expands its AI edge infrastructure solutions across international defense and government organizations by appointing former US Army CIO Raj Iyer as President of Public Sector Markets.

Raj Iyer has taken on the role of President for Public Sector Markets at Tsecond. Tsecond is a global leader in AI-powered edge infrastructure and the developer of the BRYCK platform, a tiny form factor, low-power edge AI inferencing device. The announcement coincides with defense organizations throughout the world continuing to speed up the deployment of state-of-the-art AI tools and technologies to improve military decision-making speed and accuracy.

In the government, business, and media & entertainment sectors, Tsecond has grown significantly since 2020. Boeing, MSG Sphere, Picture Shop, and the Indian Ministry of Defense have all used its solutions in the past. In his new role, Iyer will lead the growth of Tsecond’s engineering, marketing, and sales teams focused on the federal sector. The way Tsecond works with federal agencies to co-design, test, and scale solutions that satisfy the changing needs of mission-critical environments will be shaped in large part by him.

Iyer has worked in the nexus of technology, consulting, and defense for more than thirty years. He oversaw one of the biggest government-wide digital transformation initiatives while serving as the first CIO for the US Army. He oversaw the updating of IT infrastructure, the improvement of cyber readiness, and the expansion of the US Army's global mission agility. He has also held partner-level positions in Big Four firms and managed large transformation projects for government agencies.
