Earlier last month, the Nothing Phone 3 was introduced in London. One might argue that this is the most ambitious smartphone launch that Nothing has ever done.
Like all of Nothing's launches, this one has made headlines for both positive and negative reasons. In this instance, Nothing has set the price at Rs 79,999, placing the phone in the same market as the iPhone and Samsung and making it by far Nothing's most costly phone.
Apart from that, not much has changed significantly this time. The Phone 3 has four 50-megapixel cameras, a large battery, a redesigned back design with the updated Glyph Matrix, and a new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 CPU. In order to keep up with the most recent trends, they have also introduced some new AI functions.
In a perfect scenario, the majority of it should be sufficient to thrill the consumers. But that's not how things operate in India. The Indian user has a plenty of options. Numerous other businesses are charging less for comparable or superior specifications.
Nothing has always taken a unique approach to design, and the Phone 3 is up to par. The Glyph Matrix, a circular LED arrangement in the upper-right corner that shows alerts, caller ID, and animations, takes the place of the previous Glyph Interface and has a redesigned three-column layout on the rear.
The Phone 3 features four 50-megapixel cameras, three on the back and one front-facing, including a main camera, a wide-angle lens, and a zoom camera with up to 60x zoom, which can capture 4K videos at 60 frames per second. It also boasts a 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is slightly smaller than its predecessor but has a higher resolution for sharper, more vibrant visuals.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip powers the Nothing Phone 3, which offers smooth multitasking and good performance. Although it offers a good gaming experience, heavy gamers may prefer the iQOO 13 for more power in the same price range. The Nothing Phone 3 runs Nothing OS 3.5, which is based on Android 15, and has a clean interface, a distinctive dot matrix font, and a black-and-red color scheme. Essential Space is a noteworthy new feature.
