Garda World Security Company revealed the launch of ECAM, an AI-driven surveillance system that combines human expertise with state-of-the-art live video surveillance technology to deliver real-time security.
Stealth Monitoring, a North American provider of business mobile and permanent video security solutions, and ECAMSECURE, a provider of external video surveillance, strategically merged to create ECAM, or Every Camera, Always Monitored. Stealth Surveillance was acquired by GardaWorld in late 2024, and this merger came after that.
According to GardaWorld, ECAM combines smart technology with professional eyes on every camera to provide intelligent security with patented and proprietary mobile and permanent remote video monitoring that is suited to industries such as essential infrastructure, auto dealerships, logistics, commercial real estate, residential communities, and construction.
This provides an integrated safety surveillance system that blends the speed and precision of AI-powered risk identification and prevention with the critical thinking and expertise of human security professionals. ECAM has also introduced a proprietary upscaling technique and procedure that uses sophisticated algorithms to improve the resolution and quality of lower-resolution video footage.
All ECAM cameras currently use this new technology, which is currently referred to as "Integra." In contrast to conventional methods, the ECAM cloud allows for image resolution to be reduced at origin and upgraded up to 6 xs for recognition of AI and tracking fidelity. Currently, ECAM monitors about 140,000 cameras throughout North America.
