Cricket Australia Partners with Aussie Broadband

Cricket Australia names Aussie Broadband as official telecom partner, while JioStar and Sony Pictures Networks India secure rights for India’s England tour.

Cricket Australia (CA), the national governing body, has become a business partner of the Aussie Broadband company. Today, Aussie Broadband and CA announced a three-year telecom partnership that will cover both the men's and women's national teams. In addition to signage at matches, there will be events held throughout national cricket.

Aussie Broadband will also collaborate with CA to install its different network products at CA offices and other locations, as well as to speed up its international communications and IT administration.

Ed Sanders, the chief commercial officer for Cricket Australia, said that Aussie Broadband is the most respected telecom provider in Australia and that they are proud to work with a business that has a solid reputation and a commitment to providing top-notch services.

Cricket Australia’s existing commercial partners feature NRMA Insurance, the naming rights sponsor for the home test series, along with many other brands, which recently extended its partnership in late March. This agreement, according to group chief executive Brian Maher, is an example of the tight cooperation between the marketing, network, and sales teams of Cricket Australia and Aussie Broadband.

The match has been announced, and Australia's men's team will play South Africa in the ICC World Test Series Final in England the following month. In other cricket news, JioStar and SPNI have announced a broadcast rights agreement for the upcoming two England visits by the Indian men's squad.
