Blavod Black Vodka Returns to US with New Distribution Deal

Blavod Black Vodka returns to the US market with a relaunch in collaboration with Aiko Importers.

According to the manufacturer, Distil, in their latest announcement to mark April 14, 2025, regarding its Blavod Black Vodka from the United States, the company plans to relaunch the brand into the American market. Tariff levels currently fair enough for them were benefits to their supply chain as likely have been removed altogether.

Years after its former distributor pulled out during the COVID-19 pandemic, Distil, the owner of premium drink brands, is reintroducing the Blavod Black vodka brand in collaboration with AIKO Importers.

This occurs at a time when analysts and organizations representing the drinks sector have cautioned that country-specific tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump may result in increased costs for champagne, cocktails, and foreign beers, possibly leading to the removal of some brands from bar menus.

Nevertheless, it feels like a good time to make the move, said Distil. In March, Distil first began a strategic review, threatened to halve yearly revenues, and added that it was concentrating on cost reductions as the industry was being harmed by the increasing inflation, a hike in tax in the UK, additional employment costs, and soaring energy prices.

Vodka is the most popular spirit category in the US by volume, per the IWSR Drinks Market Analysis. Shipments to the United States are expected to begin by the end of June, Distil announced Monday.
