Rune strives to enable end-to-end supply webs from the front line to the Pentagon and applies a concentrated focus to tackling contentious logistical concerns.
The co-founders of Rune, David Tuttle and Peter Goldsborough, were formerly employed at Anduril Industries, where they oversaw integrated hardware-software initiatives for the military's C2 Systems Division. The founding team of Rune acknowledged the value of military logistics as a crucial component of Joint All Domain Command & Control (JADC2) initiatives, but they also saw that, at the time, the industry was not giving it the same degree of attention and emphasis as other warfighting activities. The challenge now is, "How do we sustain the force after all this investment and outstanding work by great technology companies in fighting the force through JADC2 efforts?" David Tuttle, CEO of Rune, remarked.
Rune is giving commanders the vital logistics data and decision-support resources they require in order to stay up with the rapidity of contemporary military operations. Overwhelming weaponry alone is no longer sufficient to define mission success in today's battlespace; intelligent and flexible supply webs with precise and predictive logistics are needed at every level, from the frontline to the strategic level.
With a concentrated emphasis on the military logistics space, Rune distinguishes itself from its competitors. To address the disputed logistics problem set, the company combines an elite team of engineers with Silicon Valley experience with operational veterans. Rune can enhance and expedite tactical logistics using the newest AI and software technologies, along with a focus on closely integrating with military logisticians and comprehending their difficulties.
