KUKA and Dassault Systèmes Team Up to Improve Manufacturing Automation

Dassault Systèmes gives clients an easier way to buy and utilize its 3DEXPERIENCE platform by joining KUKA's Mosaixx digital ecosystem.

To offer manufacturing companies complete solutions that satisfy the increasing needs in robotics and automation, Dassault Systèmes announced its cooperation with KUKA, a worldwide industrial automation and robotics firm.

Dassault Systèmes will join KUKA's digital ecosystem for industrial software solutions, Mosaixx, as part of the partnership. This will make it simple for KUKA clients to acquire and utilize Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform and apps. Dassault Systèmes and KUKA, through their recently established KUKA Digital segment, can increase customer access to virtual twin technology and improve collaboration capabilities, thereby enabling businesses to drive the development of more flexible and efficient solutions that revolutionize their operations.

AI, energy efficiency, and other factors are driving the estimated $16.5 billion global market value of industrial robot installations. By 2026, there will likely be 718,000 industrial robots installed annually, up from over four million in industries throughout the world in 2024.

Mosaixx was introduced by the KUKA Group in 2024 to offer an open, cooperative cloud platform for industrial software in this expanding industry. Regardless of the kind of machine or manufacturer, it gives system integrators and engineers access to a variety of solutions to propel the automation and digitization of production equipment and factory floors utilizing an ecosystem approach.

The collaboration was revealed during Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE World event in Houston, which was devoted to the user community of the SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE platforms.
