Kim Ye-ji Balenciaga, Olympic shooter fashion

The latest Balenciaga campaign features South Korean shooter Kim Ye-ji, whose "aura" and seemingly effortless shooting style captivated the internet this summer.

The Olympic silver medallist, 32, is pictured with Romeo Beckham and singer Kim Petras in a series of photos shot around Paris. The models pose or spread out with chairs and couches that appear to have been left outside on moving day, but according to the press release, they are actually from Balenciaga creative director Demna's personal furniture collection.

The film "This is a Balenciaga Campaign" was directed by Juergen Teller, whose well-known and occasionally contentious deadpan approach perfectly captures Kim's own elusive sense of style. Kim's relaxed shooting position and futuristic eyeglasses in Paris last summer sparked reactions from Olympic fans, while a previous video of her smashing a world record in Azerbaijan garnered millions of views.

Since then, Kim has secured a number of acting and fashion roles, including an assassin part in the television series "Crush" and a photo session for Louis Vuitton that appeared in W Korea magazine.

She swaps her iconic black Fila gear for a denim bomber jacket and thigh-high cutoff jeans in one appearance and a black minidress in another for the Balenciaga campaign, which showcases the brand's new handbags.

Kim described herself as a “simple dresser” in an October interview with CNN, dressing in jeans and crop tops for casual occasions and her team uniform for training or special occasions.

She claimed that her clothing was quite basic and unadorned. She is told she looks nice, nevertheless.

Teller and Dovile Drizyte, his wife and creative collaborator, worked together on the campaign. Other models, Sua Lee, Khadim Sock, and Akolde Meen, are also included, along with Beckham on a white sectional in front of the Eiffel Tower and Petras on blue flowery upholstery on a side street in Paris. David and Victoria Beckham's second son, Beckham, made a surprise runway debut for the design business in the French city in September.
