Vivo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has introduced the X200 line of smartphones in its own nation. The Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini are the three devices in the series.
For all three versions, the camera systems and MediaTek Dimensity 9400 system-on-chip (SoC) were co-engineered by the German optics manufacturer Zeiss. Although the company has not confirmed a global launch date, the Vivo X200 series is expected to make its official appearance in India around the end of this year or the beginning of next.
In addition to the base and Pro models, the Vivo X200 series now offers a Pro Mini model. These smartphones were the first to employ MediaTek's next-generation flagship CPU, the Dimensity 9400. The Vivo X200 smartphone boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, while the Pro and Pro Mini models have 6.78-inch and 6.31-inch AMOLED screens, respectively. Only the Pro versions use Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide (LTPO) technology, enabling dynamic refresh rate adjustments, despite the fact that all three models offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 4500 nits.
Up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage are included with all three versions. A 1TB version of the Vivo X200 Pro device with satellite connection and LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM is also available.
A 50MP Sony LYT-818 primary camera sensor with optical image stabilization and a 50MP ultra-wide camera (Samsung JN1) are shared by all Vivo X200 series smartphones. The Pro model also has a telephoto camera with a 200MP sensor (3.7x zoom), while the Pro Mini and base models have a 50MP sensor (3x zoom). A 32MP front-facing camera is also included with each model.
The regular model features a 5800mAh battery, while the Pro and Pro Mini models have 6000mAh and 5700mAh batteries, respectively. All three versions feature 90W rapid wired charging, while only the Pro and Pro Mini models support 30W wireless charging.
