With two acquisitions done so far this year by Infosys, the CEO of the second-largest provider of IT services is showing no signs of slowing down. Salil Parekh stated in an interview that the business was looking to make other acquisitions.
According to Parekh's interview, Infosys is looking for businesses in sectors including software as a service (SaaS) and data analytics.
Salil informed the news reporters that while they have experience with engineering services, they plan to explore other fields as well, such as data analytics and SaaS, as well as potential opportunities in other regions of Europe and the US.
He stated that the business might search for acquisitions of a scale comparable to the in-tech deal, which had an estimated cost of 450 million euros (about ₹4,045 crore).
Infosys declared in January that it would buy the Indian semiconductor design company InSemi Technology Services for a maximum of ₹280 crore.
A German provider of engineering R&D services, in-tech Holding, was bought by Infosys Germany three months later.
According to Parekh, the corporation is assessing a number of companies, but a lot relies on factors like integration, financial cost, cultural fit, and strategic synergies.
