Sanofi increase Hyderabad Global Capacity Center

Sanofi Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd. (SHIPL) declared on Wednesday that it will be expanding its Global Capacity Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad.

The company intends to invest €100 million by 2025 and €400 million over the next six years.

In line with the company's announcement, this GCC (hub) will grow over the following two years to accommodate up to 2600 workers, making it the biggest of Sanofi's four global hubs.

Sanofi has a competitive advantage in providing best-in-class enterprise solutions thanks to its four Global Capacity Centers, which are strategic hubs spread around the globe. According to a statement from the business, these hubs are important "nerve-centers" that facilitate modernization and centralization as well as chances for scaling up across Sanofi's value chain. They provide a wide range of services, from R&D and digital to manufacturing and supply, commercial, and manufacturing.

Since its founding in 2019, the Hyderabad hub has expanded rapidly from its initial focus as a medical center to offering several best-in-class services to Sanofi's global functions and affiliates worldwide.

According to the corporation, this cutting-edge, environmentally sustainable workplace in Hyderabad is a worldwide magnet for talent that embraces diversity and inclusivity.

The goal of Sanofi, according to Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer Emmanuel Frenehard, is to be the first biopharma business to use artificial Intelligence (AI) on a large scale. Since there were many unmet needs, they were utilizing AI ethically and responsibly to accelerate the time to market for their pharmaceuticals, from discovery to treatment. He continued by saying that Sanofi planned to onboard talent at the Hyderabad hub to embrace the power of AI across their value chain in order to boost productivity, better equip their workforce with decision-making skills, and leverage the speed of scientific discovery.
