Apple postpone artificial intelligence features

According to a Bloomberg News report on Sunday, Apple's AI launch has been delayed and will not debut alongside the impending software updates for the iPhone and iPad, but rather later than expected.

According to the story, which cited people with knowledge of the situation, the iPhone manufacturer intends to start distributing Apple Ai updates to consumers as part of software updates that will be available by October. According to Bloomberg, AI functionality would be available a few weeks after the initial September launches of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18.

According to the report, Apple plans to release iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 betas this week, enabling app developers to test Apple Intelligence early.

An inquiry for comment sent to Apple outside of regular business hours was not immediately answered. To boost declining sales, Apple highlighted its AI drive in June by releasing a plethora of new features and software updates for its iPhone and other devices.

Apple Intelligence—which leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to summon text, images, and other content—will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad, Mac, and later models with the M1 chip. Mac PCs can view and interact with the iPhone's screen thanks to iPhone Mirroring on MacOS Sequoia.

The allegation comes after Apple postponed the release of three new AI features in late June due to historic EU tech regulations requiring it to make sure competing goods and services work with its device.
