Oracle will train 200,000 students in Tamil Nadu

Oracle, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), will train 200,000 students in emerging technologies under the state's skill improvement project, Naan Mudhalvan.

To support students in the state in advancing their careers, TNSDC offers Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) training.

In 2024, over 200,000 young individuals at different stages of learning and career development will be trained and certified in modern Oracle technologies through a new training program. These technologies include cloud computing, data science, blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI). Over 60,000 students from 900+ universities in the state have registered for the program. The students come from various fields, like engineering, art, and science.

Tmt. J. Innocent Divya, the MD of the TNSDC , says that Tamil Nadu is among the top 12 states in India with the fastest-growing youth population. They established Naan Mudhalvan to provide a space for professionals and youth to pursue their academic and professional aspirations. She said that 1.3 million children had previously used the program. They intend to teach over 200,000 children new IT skills with Oracle's help.

The training will be given by academicians and teachers on campus as part of the program. Oracle MyLearn offers digital courses as part of its comprehensive training and enablement platform, utilized by trainees worldwide. To achieve professional-level training in cloud technologies, it will offer comprehensive foundation training along with certificates and supplementary training tailored to learning objectives and levels. Graduates of the program will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and a deeper knowledge of concepts such as blockchain, AI, ML, and data science.

Oracle University offers global access to top technology practitioners and experts to provide cloud technology training and certification. More than 3.1 million Oracle certified professionals are working globally after receiving training from Oracle University, which offers over 20 million hours of learning content.
