DLF sells 795 flats for 5.6K crore in 3 days

In just three days, DLF sold all 795 apartments in its new luxury housing project in Gurugram for a total of Rs 5,590 crore.

This success was fueled by high demand from buyers, including NRIs.

DLF has announced the successful launch of their newest luxury residential project, DLF Privana West. This was mentioned in a regulatory statement on Thursday. The project "achieved a remarkable sellout valued at approximately Rs 5,590 crores within 3 days." The new property is built on 12.57 acres with 795 flats. Each condo sold for almost Rs 7 crore on average.

The company released DLF Privana South, a 25-acre project, in January this year. Within three days, they sold 1,113 luxury apartments in Gurugram for Rs 7,200 crore.

"DLF Privana, a 116-acre township located in Gurugram, Haryana's Sectors 76 and 77, includes both "DLF Privana West" and "DLF Privana South."

Sources claim that DLF received Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from between 1,550 and 1,600 clients, or nearly twice as many as there are units available in this new project. This indicates that there is a significant demand for extremely luxurious homes.

Of the 795 units, non-resident Indians (NRIs) occupied about 27% of them. NRIs have been heavily investing in Gurugram's upscale real estate developments due to their high rental income and capital growth potential.

Aakash Ohri, Joint Managing Director and Chief Business Officer, DLF Home Developers Ltd., commented on the development. He stated that 'DLF Privana West' emerged as the next chapter in this story, designed to cater to the aspirations of homebuyers for spacious, luxurious abodes within a well-connected community, following the success of DLF Privana's inaugural project, DLF Privana South. In this new complex, he noted, a significant number of the flats had been purchased by NRIs.
