BDO welcomes three new partners

BDO has hired three new partners, Claire Collins, Evan Routenberg, and Carl Jebbitt, to strengthen its auditing team. They were previously working at Big Four firms.

Evan Routenberg has nearly 20 years of experience in professional services. He is currently a partner at BDO in the digital risk advisory services (DRAS) team. He will lead BDO’s digital third party assurance (TPA) practice, and will be based in BDO’s London office.

Routenberg has nearly 20 years of experience at PwC, where he worked as a director in the assurance practice. He focused on offering TPA services like readiness assessments to various clients in industries including fintech, hospitality, payroll, technology, and telecommunications.

Claire Collins joins BDO as a partner in the firm’s Quality and Risk Management team. She brings extensive expertise in audit quality and regulation, and will be stationed at BDO’s prestigious London office. Collins comes from EY, where she held the esteemed position of partner in their esteemed audit division. It is worth noting that she initially began her journey at the renowned Big Four firm as a manager in assurance back in 2006.

Collins mentioned on LinkedIn that it was time for a change after almost 18 years. She expressed that what made EY special was the people she worked with, as their enthusiasm, knowledge, humor, and friendship made her stay for a long time. Although she felt sad about leaving, she was also excited about starting a new chapter.

Carl Jebbitt has recently joined BDO in the South East. He will join the pension audit team in the region and focus on defined benefit, defined contribution, and hybrid pension schemes from BDO’s Guildford office. Jebbit comes from Deloitte where he worked for over ten years, most recently as an audit director specializing in pension funds, investment funds, and internal controls.
