The TON team conducted a public blockchain speed test, completing 42 million transactions in twelve minutes, with a maximum speed of 108,409 transactions per second.
A public blockchain speed test was carried out by the TON team. The experiment's developers stated that 42 million transactions were completed in the course of the experiment's twelve minutes, with a maximum pace of 108,409 transactions per second (TPS).
On the test network of 256 validators, 43,012,970 transactions were supposedly sent in 11 minutes.
108,409 (TPS) is the greatest transaction speed per second, setting a record for all blockchains in use today. For instance, this number is 5-7 TPS for Bitcoin, 15 TPS for Ethereum, and 65,000 TPS (the previous record holder) for Solana.
TON currently bills itself as the world's fastest blockchain, achieving 104,715 transactions in a second.
