According to Rockstar Games, the much-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal trailer will finally be unveiled in December 2023.
The developer verified earlier November rumors that it would release the game's first official trailer the following month by revealing the information in a post on the Rockstar Newswire.
While not providing the complete unveiling for the game as was anticipated, Rockstar did state that it was "very excited" to finally release Grand Theft Auto 6. According to the statement, they could not wait to share with fans the news that the first Grand Theft Auto trailer would be released in early December. Rockstar was excited to continue sharing these moments with all of the fans for many more years to come.
Rockstar's 25th anniversary will be honored the following month, according to the post's introductory sentence, which implies the GTA 6 trailer will drop on the same day. However, since the studio was only made public on January 22 of the subsequent year, the only date that can be determined for its founding is the vague "December 1998" window.
Nonetheless, there is always another chance for the trailer to be released on December 7, which is the day of the Game Awards. Rockstar has not officially confirmed, but given that GTA 6 frequently has a ton of fresh trailers and statements from the top producers, it wouldn't be out of place if it attended the awards ceremony.
