Kalpataru Projects wins major transmission and substation contracts, surpasses annual order target, strengthening position in fast growing global infrastructure markets.

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has secured new orders worth around ₹4,439 crore, including a substantial project in Africa. In addition to other T&D projects in India and a substation order in Sweden, the company and its subsidiaries secured contracts for 400 kV transmission lines and related substations in the African market.

These contracts' size and geographic distribution demonstrate KPIL's ongoing efforts to bolster its position in rapidly growing energy infrastructure markets. Africa, in particular, is a crucial region, with expenditures in power transmission networks increasing to support industrial expansion and energy access. KPIL is establishing itself as a major player in this change by securing high-voltage transmission projects in the area.

Managing Director and CEO Manish Mohnot underlined that the T&D division is still a key component of the business's expansion plan from a leadership perspective. He pointed out that these most recent victories demonstrate KPIL's capacity to use its integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) capabilities to provide intricate, extensive infrastructure solutions on a worldwide scale. More significantly, the business has already exceeded its ₹26,000 crore annual order intake goal, indicating robust execution momentum and ongoing demand.

This clearly highlights a larger trend: in emerging nations, infrastructure companies with a track record of successful execution are becoming more and more preferred partners. The Africa orders are more than simply small victories for KPIL; they are proof of its ability to compete in global bidding markets.

One of the largest specialty EPC firms, KPIL works in a variety of industries, such as railroads, electricity T&D, oil and gas pipelines, urban transportation, and civil infrastructure. Its order book is further strengthened by these most recent occurrences which also highlight its goal of expanding globally while retaining its leadership in key markets.

Thus, Business Fortune believes Kalpataru Projects International Ltd strengthens EPC presence under Manish Mohnot leadership.
