New curated packages offer hotel stays, attraction perks, and travel benefits to encourage more tourism between Singapore and Japan.
Far East Hospitality (FEH) has partnered with JTB Singapore to launch a series of travel packages connecting Singapore and Japan in honor of the two countries' 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The initiative aims to support two way travel, providing specially curated packages for both Singaporeans to Japan and Japanese visitors to Singapore. With assistance from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), FEH and JTB Singapore the local division of Japan based travel agency JTB Corporation, are spearheading the initiative.
The two markets' high demand for travel coincides with the partnership. About 726 000 tourists from Singapore traveled to Japan in 2025, compared to around 630 000 visitors from Japan. The packages include a two night stay at specific Far East Village hotels in Tokyo, Yokohama or Osaka for visitors from Singapore. Along with attraction tickets to famous sites like Tokyo Tower and Osaka Castle, the package also includes transportation benefits like airport rail tickets and metro passes. The deal also includes a 7 day eSIM card.
Far East Village Hotel Tokyo, Asakusa and Ariake, Far East Village Hotel Yokohama and Far East Village Hotel Osaka, Namba South and Honmachi are among the participating establishments. Depending on the type of reservation, Japanese tourists using JTB Japan will get extra benefits. Individual travelers will receive luggage stickers and coupons for Singaporean food brands Old Chang Kee and Ya Kun while group travelers will receive commemorative handheld fans.
From March 27 to 29 2026, Singapore Expo will host the Natas Travel Fair, where JTB Singapore will sell the travel packages.
