VisionWave Gets U.S. RF Patent

VisionWave announces granting of New U.S. Patent, expanding enforceable protection across its core RF imaging and AI platform.

VisionWave Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of VisionWave Holdings, Inc. (VWAV), made the announcement that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a new patent in the United States that covers systems and methods for real-time movement, position detection, and imaging.

VisionWave Holdings, Inc., headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware is an American defense technology company established in 2024. It specializes in AI-driven autonomous systems and advanced sensing technologies for military and homeland security.

The newly granted patent, U.S. invention No. 12,499,578, titled "Systems and Methods of Real-Time Movement, Position Detection, and Imaging," marks the successful conversion of a previously pending patent application into an issued U.S. patent. This issued patent broadens VisionWave's awarded patent portfolio while strengthening enforceable protection for the company's key unique technology.

Douglas Davis, Executive Chairman of VisionWave Holdings, Inc. says that the insurance of the issued patent strengthens VisionWave’s intellectual property foundation, he also believes that Converting pending applications into issued patents improves the defensibility of their platform, raises barriers to entry, and increases their strategic flexibility as they continue with the partnerships, licensing opportunities, and long-term value creation.

The new invention is part of VisionWave's Apollo patent family, which specializes in real-time radio-frequency (RF) -based movement detection, imaging, and AI-powered analysis. The firm has a patent portfolio that covers secure communications, mobile data management, computer vision, and AI-powered facial and body identification.

According to Dr. Danny Rittman, Chief Technology Officer of VisionWave Technologies this patent validates core architectural elements of their multi-planar RF imaging and AI-driven detection framework, from a technological perspective. It protects foundational methods that enable real-time sensing, tracking, and imaging across complex environments, which are central to their roadmap in defense, autonomy, and advanced sensing applications.

The newly issued Patent is the second continuation of the Apollo patent family, providing enforceable protection for further designs and implementations. With this issue, VisionWave has turned previously dependent intellectual property rights into granted, enforceable US patents, ensuring continuity and depth throughout its core technological platform.

Independent patent counsel examined and summarized VisionWave's patent portfolio, confirming ownership, inventorship, and prosecution status as part of the company's intellectual property due diligence and portfolio management strategy.
