Donald Trump sparks criticism across party lines over plans to accept a $400M luxury jet from Qatar, raising concerns of ethics, influence, and legality.

Donald Trump's willingness to take a plane from Qatar has united many opponents from across America's severe political divide, which is a remarkable accomplishment. The White House's issue is that opposition to it is fostering solidarity.

The aircraft will be donated by the royal family of Qatar to the US Department of Defense so that it can be used in the Air Force One fleet. Many on both sides of the political spectrum are still not convinced, despite the White House's insistence that the deal is legal.

Trump's critics immediately attacked him. More noteworthy is the fact that some of Trump's most ardent fans have joined the criticism. The agreement has been referred to by some MAGA influencers as a "bribe," a "grift," and a representation of the very corruption that Trump once pledged to eradicate.

The aircraft is anticipated to become part of the presidential fleet, which already consists of several less noticeable 757s and two elderly 747-200s. The jet is expected to be transferred to Trump’s presidential library once his term concludes.

Reaction was immediate on Sunday at the breaking news of the deal. On his show, Ben Shapiro, a conservative commentator, stated he thinks "skeezy" is the technical term here. He continued by saying that Qatar is not merely giving President Trump a $400 million jet out of altruism.  In a completely bipartisan manner, they attempt to shove money into people's pockets.
