On Wednesday, the exchanges were notified that the state-owned firm NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) had transferred a 378MW wind energy project to Suzlon Energy Ltd.
In a BSE filing, the supplier of renewable energy solutions said that Suzlon just won a 378MW wind energy project, consolidating its biggest collaboration with NTPC Green Energy to 1,544MW. This victory underlines our unchallenged market dominance and dedication to long-term, significant expansion.
120 S144 Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) with Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, will be supplied by Suzlon as part of this deal. The company will also handle the project's foundation, installation, and commissioning in addition to provide maintenance and services.
"This partnership lays a vital foundation for demonstrating the vital role of wind in driving India's largest PSU's renewable journey by providing high-quality, reasonably priced power," said Girish Tanti, vice-chairman of Suzlon Group. NGEL plans to boost its renewable energy capacity to 60GW by 2032. From our initial project in Gujarat to our expansion in Karnataka, their dedication to strengthening India's position as a leader in the global renewable energy industry has been unwavering. As of right now, Suzlon Energy's stock was down 0.40 percent, trading at Rs 59.05. There has been a 9.63% drop in pricing so far this year.
According to Bonanza Group Senior Research Analyst Rajesh Sinha, Suzlon Energy has reached a record-high order book of about 5.7GW. Given India's goal to double the installed capacity base of wind by 2030, the prognosis is still positive. On a consolidated basis, contribution margins should stabilize at about 20%, with modifications made in response to changes in steel prices and project execution circumstances. Despite quarterly (QoQ) variations brought on by one-off events, O&M margins are anticipated to remain at about 40%.
