Jonathan Anderson Named Dior Men’s Artistic Director

Jonathan Anderson joins Dior Men as artistic director, with his debut set for Paris Fashion Week this June.

The long-awaited announcement has finally arrived: Jonathan Anderson, a former designer for Loewe, will join Dior. In March of this year, Loewe announced that Anderson would be leaving. He will take Kim Jones' place as the house's artistic director for Dior Men.

Bernard Arnault, the chairman and CEO of LVMH, announced the news at the annual investors' conference. According to reports, Anderson would present his first collection during the June men's fashion week in Paris.

Anderson founded JW Anderson, a popular brand for men, after he graduated from The London College of Fashion in menswear design. He has worked as a visual merchandiser for Prada under the guidance of Miuccia, who is known to be Prada’s right hand.

There will be a lot of designer debuts at fashion houses during his first collection for Dior. During Paris Fashion Week in October 2025, Matthieu Blazy is anticipated to unveil Chanel's spring and summer 2026 ready-to-wear collection; Demna is scheduled to go to Gucci after finishing up with Balenciaga. Jack McCullough and Lazaro Hernandez have now taken over Anderson's role at Loewe.

Anderson received the Emerging Talent, Ready-to-Wear prize from the British Fashion Council in 2012. In addition to working with Topshop, Donatella Versace asked him to guest design for versus.

The brand's cruise collection will be unveiled in Rome at the end of May by Maria Grazia Chiuri, who is still Dior's creative director for women. In the courtyard of the Toji Temple in Kyoto, Japan, she presented her autumn collection on Tuesday evening.
