AI Powers Quest Software’s Latest Database Tool Updates

Toad Data Studio 2.0 and Toad Data Point 6.4, two database administration solutions from Quest Software, have undergone major improvements that include improved connectivity choices and AI-powered capabilities.

The latest updates are intended to help organizations who are having trouble managing intricate database infrastructures. Quest Software's improvements are intended to assist close the skills gap in the sector, since more and more professionals are being assigned Database Administrator duties without formal training.

According to a research by the Quest and Enterprise Software Group, 93% of organizations run in multiplatform settings. It also mentions that over half of the database specialists were not originally employed as DBAs but have now taken on such duties. The latest upgrades' AI-powered capabilities are designed to help both seasoned and inexperienced data workers by automating complex operations and improving usability. Regardless of any DBA expertise, these solutions allow teams to protect data integrity, guarantee continuous availability, and maintain performance standards.

AI Integration is one of the improved tools' primary characteristics. The goal of these AI-powered capabilities is to streamline processes so that seasoned DBAs can work more productively and users with less coding skills may complete jobs with more assurance. Expanded connectivity features are another addition to the improvements. Databricks may now be used with Toad Data Point 6.4, and Oracle Cloud Fusion connection has been introduced to Toad Data Studio 2.0. This increases support for modern data environments, giving users more freedom to manage and easily integrate data across different platforms.
