Quest Diagnoses and Google Cloud collaborate to improve patient care, data security, and diagnoses in healthcare through AI-driven analytics.

Quest Diagnostics, is geared towards forming a strategic partnership with Google Cloud, with the primary goal of increasing data management and analytics tools for personalized healthcare. This partnership aims to transform how Google Cloud will evolve, with highly enhanced diagnostic insights and operational efficiency for patient involvement through data analytics and generative AI technologies.

Google Agentspace, which is a generative AI platform for automating complex tasks and connections with enterprise-wide knowledge, will be adopted by Quest as part of the initiative. This is one of the few cases where a national lab provider integrates generative AI into several operational and administrative sectors, such as R&D, customer experience, and delivery of healthcare, while maintaining rigorous data privacy and security standards.

Murali Balakumar, the senior VP and CIO of Quest mentioned that AI-driven tools from Google Cloud will eliminate barriers to care for personalized patient and provider interaction. The partnership will provide Quest with the ability to negotiate the ever-evolving data landscape responsibly and securely, stated Mark S. Clare, the VP and Chief Data Officer of Quest.

Thomas Kurian, the CEO of Google Cloud, view this initiative as revolutionary integration health because it connects Quest's extensive diagnostic network with the AI and data capabilities of Google. The commitment of Quest to carry out research and innovations in AI-enabled health has already been shown with the processing of more than 200 million test requests and handling of over 80 billion data points by 2024.
