Just two years after Amazon brought the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours back to life, the show has been canceled once more. Its final episode is scheduled to air in December 2025.

The final episode of the 40-year series will run in December 2025, according to a statement posted on the show's social media pages.

With well-known past graduates including Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, and Margot Robbie, the program centers on the lives of the people who live in the fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough.

According to executive producer Jason Herbison, viewers worldwide have adored and embraced Neighbours for forty years, and they are extremely proud of the show's tremendous success in the past two years, which has included frequent appearances in the UK's Top 10 titles and its first-ever Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Daytime Series in 2024.

As this chapter comes to an end, he added, they are grateful to Amazon MGM Studios for everything they have done for Neighbours, including introducing this beloved and famous series to new viewers around the world. They appreciate how many the fans like Neighbours and think there will be more Ramsay Street residents' tales to share in the future.
