With the appointment of Carys Rowan as Head of Creative and Darren Chouings as Production Manager, independent U.K. production firm Cantilever Media, which produced animated films like The Amazing Maurice and Bollywoof, is growing its production team.

The announcement, which highlights the business's development and growth ambitions for 2025 and its slate, which includes Bollywoof and Badjelly the Witch as well as The Amazing Maurice 2, comes shortly after Cantilever's introduction of its new U.K. kids and family animated movie distribution company Kazoo Films.

Chouings will assist Rowan in managing all productions while Rowan will supervise all creative on Cantilever's slate of animated projects in collaboration with Founder and CEO Andrew Baker.

Having worked in digital media for 20 years, Rowan is a multi-platform producer with a BAFTA award who specializes in animation, gaming, and kid-friendly entertainment. She is presently producing Badjelly the Witch with Mukpuddy and Sphere for WildBrain and co-producing the animated film Bollywoof for Sky Cinema with Newscope and Goodstory.

Chouings has helped a number of projects while serving as an Associate Producer at Cantilever Media. As Cantilever's Production Manager, he will now oversee production and assist with many aspects of the animation production process.
