Beyoncé Delays Announcement fires in LA

Due to the continuous destruction caused by the wildfires in Los Angeles, Beyoncé has decided to postpone her much-anticipated announcement that was originally scheduled for January 14th.

The singer's official Instagram account announced the gift and the delay in a message released the night before the announcement. She added that because of the destruction caused by the recent wildfires in parts of Los Angeles, the announcement scheduled for January 14th will now take place at a later time. She also keeps praying for the families dealing with trauma and loss to recover and start over. We are extremely fortunate to have courageous first responders who never stop working to keep the people of Los Angeles safe.

The BeyGOOD LA Fire Recovery Fund has contributed $2.5 million to directly assist families who lost their homes and neighborhood groups leading the recovery effort, the post's description continued. Please lend us your support in any way you can.

Earlier Monday, the musician had revealed the gift to fire relief efforts.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z currently reside in Las Vegas with their three children, despite owning a property in Bel Air.

Beyoncé originally prepared fans for a big news release scheduled for January 14 after her halftime performance on Netflix's NFL Christmas Gameday. As the day drew near, the Bey-hive's speculation went into overdrive, with social media raging with talk of a new song (perhaps an Act III album) and/or a tour.
