Grand Theft Auto 6 release

Grand Theft Auto 6 will be one of the most significant video game releases ever, if not the most significant.

The video game industry as a whole is already being impacted by the game's uncertain release date, which may be delayed until 2026.

According to a recent Bloomberg report, the level of anticipation for the game is so high that rival video game publishers are delaying their Fall 2025 release dates as long as possible. This is because they want to know if Grand Theft Auto 6 will actually come out next year or if it will slip into 2025. They also want to release their games as far away from that date as possible. Given that analysts predict it to be the largest entertainment launch ever, this is not unexpected. It might have a significant influence on the whole industry, not just on release dates.

Rockstar Games hasn't talked about Grand Theft Auto 6 in a while. Back in May, the game's publisher, Take-Two, said that the game was still slated for release in the fall of 2025 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Since then, they have not spoken. Although the game's release timetable hasn't been altered as of yet, its ambitious nature may cause it to slip into 2026.

Although a PC release is definitely on the horizon, it has not yet been formally announced, so those who want to enjoy Grand Theft Auto 6 at its fullest will have to wait longer than everyone else. Consoles will probably have to make compromises, and if the game is designed for 30 frames per second on the standard model, the PlayStation 5 Pro might not be able to run it at 60 FPS owing to CPU restrictions.
